RAILCOP is a large-scale public limited conglomerate and a subsidiary of Ministry of Railways Pakistan. With a long history, since 1980, RAILCOP, as the pioneer, has adhered to the corporate spirit of “Innovative Engineering” and cultivated many key business segments, namely, infrastructure construction, engineering of Railway works, track design and constructions, Railway equipment manufacturing, real estate development, civil and mechanical engineering works etc.
Since the implementation of the reform and opening-up policy of Pakistan, RAILCOP is seizing every opportunity of rapid development, and has grown up to be a backbone in the national economy. Recently, we signed an MOU for the construction of 105km Rail track from Thar Coal to Mirpur Khas. The project brought 170M Euros FDI for the country.
Another agreement is signed with Maldives Government to construct 1000 houses with modern infrastructure.
During the course of becoming International commercial company, RAILCOP has fulfilled the mission of “delivering superior products and improving people’s life. Keeping in mind, RAILCOP is working to develop Special Economic Zone in Rajanpur with the help of a local landlord.
